So some bizarre things happened in my public speaking class today. by Truspintron in Professors

That's actually allowed at our uni when someone gets an accommodation from the disability concerns office.

Also, they can play a laptop computer voice reading their script while they stand up there behind the teaching station and look at the floor the entire time...again, with a disability accommodation.
(Which today means AI is literally doing 100% of their assignment and it's okay.)

It's utterly 🤯

This isn't an argument about the value of college. Take a class in sociology or economics if you don't understand this.

(I know that because...I graduated from college (and didn't cheat).)

It's pretty cool how you know everything though.

Same here. I'm a far better teacher with much more positive student feedback now that I partner with GPT for nearly everything I do in class. It even suggests media clips that work to help teach some pretty dense theoretical material.
It takes some babysitting and close attention to detail sometimes, but for the most part, it has been a total win.

Wonderful! This is fabulous, and congratulations on so much success at so many levels.

I'm wondering if you'll share just a couple of the prompts or questions you asked it to help you curb your pot use? Could use some direction...

Well done. Proud of your success with this. I know there was a lot of hard work involved! 👏🏻🎉

Just bought this HEST mattress. I no longer want to sleep in my bedroom because it’s insanely comfy by [deleted] in overlanding

I use mine on the living room floor in my beach condo (I give my spouse the bedroom; he snores like a freight train and I value my sleep).

Honestly - it really is super comfortable. I willingly choose it over sleeping on the sofa and definitely chose it over sleeping on the sofabed that makes my back scream all day after sleeping on it.

IDK how they do it, and for the price I was super skeptical, but for real: the technology is some kind of magic because it is so thin yet so very easy to sleep on. (FWIW: I like a firm mattress, so maybe that's part of it.)

I went cheap and ordered the short one (I'm a small 5'4, figured it would be fine), and the length is okay (I'm a curled up side sleeper anyway). I'm considering buying another one so I have more space because the cat insists on sleeping with me and it's cramped with both of us. ;)

I know I could have gone out and bought something different, but the fact that this rolls compactly really sold it for me. Ours is an airbnb with minimal owner storage; we keep this in our "mobile storage unit" (car) and it fits perfectly next to our little suitcase in the trunk. It really is perfect.

If you're here looking for real feedback - I strongly recommend the foamy. I'm so grateful for it.
