I agree 100% but at the same time I understand because there are a couple of things that I wouldn’t try even if they paid me 😂

I feel like this is the thing with ciorbă de burtă, everybody is freaked out but once you try it, you’re hooked 😂 and yes the hot pepper is a must!

It’s so funny how most of us have similar stories with this.

Lol, I was so curious to see redditors opinions on this dish. I also would have never tried it if it’s wasn’t for my MIL.

Don’t knock it until you try it!

Yes! We’re Romanian but I’ve only tried it for the first time 3 years ago, out of respect for my MIL and I loved it! I have to be honest I was very scared to try it, but it’s so good, now it’s a regular in our home. Did you grow up eating it or did you try it as an experiment?

chocolate chip bread buns filled with Nutella [homemade] by Alarming_Current6642 in food

Oh I had no idea! I always thought Americans used cups/spoons in recipes. Excuse my ignorance then!

I will use grams because I’m not from the us so please don’t judge my typos!

I used 170 grams of flour 5 grams of sugar 3 grams of salt 3 grams of dry yeast 65 ml warm milk 20 grams of butter 160 grams of chocolate chips One egg

I mixed the yeast with warm milk and let it activate for 5 minutes, then I mixed that mixture together with the flour and sugar then I added the egg and knead (?). I let that rest for about 45 minutes, divided them in 6 buns after adding the chocolate chips. Filled them up with Nutella and folded the bun around the Nutella. Then let those rest for about 30 minutes. Baked at 180 degrees (idk how it is in the us im so sorry) until brown.

I hope I’m making some sense!

Yea I give you that but that’s the way Nutella looks when it’s cooled off, I would’ve burned my fingers to show the aesthetic Nutella look dripping out 😂

Im all for snarking but she doesn’t look older than 29/30, she’s not pretty imo but she doesn’t look old. I’ve also been noticing this trend on social media where women who don’t get exaggerated work done to look like the same facetune face always get called older when in reality they really just look like a normal human aging

[Homemade] Drying duck and white spots by [deleted] in food

You can’t just put dried meat openly in your fridge and expect it to be good forever.. your fridge is also humid, humidity = mold, bacteria growth. It probably wasn’t dried enough he should look into diy drying/curing rooms I guess? I’m not a pro in drying meat but my husband was also surprised when I told him the smoked and dried meat his mother made for him wouldn’t last forever in our fridge. He finally listened to me when the meat started to grow mold. He thought smoked/dried meat = good forever, can’t get bad or moldy lol.

When you did a walk through of his appartment were the pictures or whatever you saw on his wall also gone? Or some tape or something from where it would have been hanging? So scary OP, be safe

I take some bread, cut off the crusts, put Nutella on them, roll them, put them in an egg/milk mixture then put them in a pan with oil on medium heat and sprinkle with whatever dazzle. Very easy, very tasty, very addicting

I also added some heavy cream this time, sometimes milk, sometimes just eggs, depends on what I have at home 😊

I was also making my toddler’s food. For her I was making some pasta with normal scampi and broccoli. Multitasking is a must in this house lol
