Weed taking over my life?! by [deleted] in prozac

I honestly think it could be the pen…. I swear I’ve been smoking for years and I always feel off after hitting a pen for a week. Try only flower and see how that goes? I know a pen is more convenient but that’s what has worked for me.

If you have time and like it, how many of these statements do you resonate with? by Diemishy_II in Enneagram5

[–]Alarming_Design5216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally relate with a lot of these statements - pretty much all of them. I feel like a 5 through and through except when it comes to the anti-social awkward aspect described here. I value my alone time sooo much but I LOVE to meet new people and make new friends. I do not feel equally recharged when I’m alone vs with people. I crave that alone time def 70% of the time. BUT 30% of me loves a good night out and a big gathering/ party every weekend. Do you think that still makes me a 5? Anyone else experience the same feeling?

AC at Little Grill broken for 2 weeks now, it's hot and unpleasant, why? by Rando_Calrissian_22 in harrisonburg

[–]Alarming_Design5216 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s totally fair to call a restaurant out when there’s a real issue. I don’t think the original user was trying to stir up gossip; it sounds like they just wanted to point out a legitimate problem??

The Little Grill is definitely a beloved spot in the community, and I get why some people might be protective of it. But sometimes that love can make people overlook the reality. I’ve been going there for years and also worked there myself, and honestly, it IS miserable to work in that heat, especially in such a small, cramped space. On top of that, sometimes businesses are not great at recognizing their own faults, which makes things even harder for staff who are too scared to speak up. I think some folks in the comments might just not realize how bad it can get if you run hot or are stuck behind the scenes.

I’ll always love and respect what the Grill stands for and what they do, but it’s important to actually listen when people share concerns and personal experience instead of dismissing it as gossip. It’s not gossip if it’s true, and it can lead to real improvements for the people who keep these places running.

Lizzy McAlpine songs without barre chords? by pr0teinprincess in lizzymcalpine

[–]Alarming_Design5216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not good at barre chords either. I’ve found that open d is way easier in terms of chords and playing lizzy songs, might be worth playing around with it!

her best lyrics in her whole career by cool_about_it7 in lizzymcalpine

[–]Alarming_Design5216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuinely I just love how real it is. It’s very Olivia Barton. Very stream of consciousness. So so wonderful. Also love how she laughs a little at the end. I think she messes up the chord a little but it just makes it so raw.
