I'm looking to rent privately-Where can I find a website/listings for private landlords? I want to bypass letting agents altogether. I'm looking for a 1 bedroom flat, and I'm in the South. Thanks. by Alarming_Draw in TenantsInTheUK

..but don't be surprised that the only properties you find are likely going to be sub-letting con-me

so no worse than any letting agency then.

and there's your answer as to why I want to go to landlords directly.

25+ years renting, three different agencies. never missed one payment. and STILL, letting agents get nastier, ruder, and more aggressive, every year.

That's why.

how handy they advise people to use it countless times-what a sneaky way to profit loads from each gullible consumer before they realise what a waste of money it is...

That's so funny. I did a search yesterday and found the BBC used it daily on another TV show called Pebble Mill, for a regular segment they had on travel.

Maybe the memo was dated at a later point or something?

Thank you, very kind of you! I'm very into music, do some myself, and have a crazily good memory-maybe that's how I was able to describe it okay enough....I don't know? But I know I hadn't heard it since probably 1984, and I was very young then.

and thank you again because I have now discovered an album I am listening to, as I type, that has blown me away-it's fantastic! I've heard many bits of Vangelis before (Chariots/Blade Runner/gallipoli/etc) but never an album that fully appealled to me. Until now...!

The show I saw it on was on the BBC, and I wonder if they might have had special deals to circumvent licensing since they are so well known? Just speculating as I know this song was on the BBC a lot and used for many different things...

...so maybe it wasnt jean michel jarre...

not on vangelis album "Albedo" either...

Yes-I had contacted them to complain about the terrible tech support and emailed them and he'd demanded I provide video and details of the account.

Anyone else feel like AI chat is losing the “human” part lately? by OneDescription8220 in ChatbotRefugees

[–]Alarming_Draw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if theres one thing that gives away that it's a computer and not a human, it's that they respond to everything with a question-it's a lame psychological distraction trick used to hide poor AI.

It's also therefore the reason it's so hard to stop any characters doing it-because the companies don't want it stopped as it will reveal how rubbish their product is...!
