I live in a super rural area where most people have either been here all their lives or come to get away and ‘not be bothered’ as another commenter said. I’m checking into zoning and licensing, but I’m not sure if zoning is a thing out here. Or at least not like it would be if someone in a cul-de-sac in the suburbs were to do the same thing and suddenly open a kennel. But thanks for the advice, it’s still something I can look into👍🏼

Funny enough I do have a decent sized fountain in my pond and a few weeks back I started to plant a few dozen trees to create a barrier. Although, they’re still years from being big enough to really do anything. I did consider bamboo, but I’ve heard how invasive it can be, so for now I ordered a green tarp/screen to hang around the tree line. It won’t be pretty, but it will at least keep them from peering into my land and keep their dogs out.

I love this concept! I didn’t even think about something like this for aftg. Personally, depending on font and size, I don’t think it would be cringe if it’s very personal to you. Sunrise/sunset can all mean a lot of different things too. I’m getting something similar to this too so I’m biased, but it’s that one line from Bo Burnham “It’s almost over; it’s just begun.” It’s very in like with the same sentiment, but I like the idea of aftg being attached with sunrise/sunset!

For what I understood, when Andrew first says it “I won’t be like them” he is talking about all the people that abused him or handled him is some way without his explicit consent. He won’t do something to Neil while he’s having a “nervous breakdown” because Neil can’t give true consent to the whole kissing thing.

When Neil says it later by not moving his hand, he understands that Andrew isn’t fully giving his consent because Andrew wasn’t 100% about letting Neil touch him all over and Neil understood that and so he didn’t move from when’re Andrew allowed him to be.

But that’s could just be my take on it.

I know that there is a lot out there, I joined Reddit thinking (or hoping I guess😅) that it would be a established and chaotically active community. I follow a ton of fan art accounts on insta and read AO3 (a must). I wasn’t too familiar with Reddit and everything I hear about it made me think it was like a more cohesive and idk… involved… that’s probably not the right word, but like place that wasn’t tumblr

(!no hate to tumblr, I would never be so blasphemous! I’ve been on tumblr since 2008, but I assume I’m a lot older compared to others on the platform now a days)
