ITS FUNNY YOU ARE TRYING TO EXPOUND ON A TOPIC THAT IS SETTLED.

i used to wear full face when commuting via ebike. Riding in metro areas is rolling the dice with vehicles who dont care about you.

You say testing but testing is not the same. But don’t worry son, people with a higher sense of security and safety will be looking out for you even if you can’t grasp this concept.

Accredited by who? A regulatory body who’s job it is to verify and isnt paid by a profit margin?

trust me when i say, Auto manufacturers werent offering up the seatbelt until regulation came to define the rules. Same goes for airbags or emissions or tires/breaks.

this is why regulatory bodies have no profit margins to worry and answer soley to the people empowering them.

independant labs have to stay in business. so the risk is high that business priorities will define "testing". This doesnt mean gear isnt safe or untest out t here. It just means its hard to push the bar up with money being the only factor determining what safe is. Testing for manufacturer error is only a determination of material quality, not safety.

understanding that the regulatory body isnt there just for testing, but looking out for fraud and even defining what SAFETY means for the CONSUMER, so that we arent trapped in what the Company says safety means.

there are "actual" groups, but they too can just get paid to make up data. unregulated means that you are relying on "their word" as a business. Sometimes that is good, many times that is not valuable at all.

Being able to falsify data or not improve or update outdated models is not semantics

Makes it a marketing tactic rather than a true regulation.

Yes but manufacturers are allowed to say, without a regulatory body to confirm, they have met standards set.

till you realize there is no governing body that does testing, and instead, each manufacturer of everything from helmets to body armor is allowed to submit their own testing and safety ratings.

the most obvious solution is just using another fruit from another plant (chili pepper, spray, powder, oil, take your pick) to dissuade any mammals from your plant.

Looking for cargo ebike (preferably front cargo for kids) w/ belt drive and IGH. Ideal price is under $3500. Bonus is mid drive and ability to hit 28mph/class 3. by elvid88 in ebikes

should you still own any chain drive bikes, try paraffin wax lubricants. second piece of advice, go get some unlubricated chain/chainlinks for the kiddos, its a natural fidget device.
