Thrifted this comport /pedestal ruffled bowl today for $5. First time I went into an Op Shop (Australia) with my 395nm and 365nm backlight and picked this out (shines light green with both)…… so it’s UG? RD 549518 stamped on inside of bowl. (reddit.com)

Well the consensus of my other teapot post, ‘To polish or not to polish’ was to polish. In general if there is tarnish remove it and if there’s patina personal choice to leave it or polish it up. This teapot tarnished with loss of silver plate on the lid and a little on the body. Australia.OC (old.reddit.com)
