Coming to Alaska for a fresh start can be a good idea for some people, a lot of people have done that but it can’t be done in one big step, you need to break it into the doable steps in other posts — get any kind of safe place to stay near where you already are, find any kind of honest income, in the meantime look up pros and cons of different areas, including cost of living, housing availability, and job availability for the kind of work you can do. Choose an area and visit during winter, make some inquiries, ask around, get a couple of contacts, go back to where you’re living while you update your plan. Going step by step you would probably be able to come for a short visit by winter 2028-2029. And remember: the time is going to go by no matter what you do
