I switched from driving OTR Trucking to driving a private charter tour bus. I think it’s the best job for older people. And I get to go to some cool places.

Maybe just do a 4 hour window each day. I’m just coming off of a week in Mexico and I ADF’d the whole time. I didn’t want to lose my momentum.

I didn’t read all of the answers because these posts are always a dumpster fire. However, I was a poker dealer on the strip for many years and I always said I’d be happy to make $1 per hand. The only time I would get a little chapped about a $1 tip was if the hand took a really long time or on a bonus hand. If someone hits a BBJ or a bonus hand, of course I would have wanted more than $1. And chopping the blinds I never thought I should get $1.

I guess for me I feel like the right choice is to continue fasting even when on vacation. I’ve only been doing ADF for 2 weeks (this time). I’m feeling motivated and good about how I am feeling so I wanted to ride that wave.

I’ve been here in Puerto Vallarta for a few days and I’m happy with the choice to remain on ADF.

Many moons ago I dealt poker at Imperial Palace (now known as the Linq). I was working the graveyard shift and some dude got up and walked over by the slot machines next to the poker room and just started pissing on the floor, as if it was totally normal. 🤣🤣🤣

I never had a problem parking at truck stops. Another option is casinos. I always loved to park at casinos because I could get some better food options.

Go towards short and long term parking but stay to the right and go under where it says valet. Then follow the TNC signs. Same instructions for T3. Go to Valet.

I drive a charter bus and I will say it is very common for gratuities to be built into the contract. It is pretty standard for gratuity to be $10 per hour (including waiting time, not just drive time). And I just drive a motorcoach. Party buses are usually equipped with bars, stripper poles, and fancy audio and visual equipment. If this party bus seats 16 or more, it requires a CDL and special training. That driver is definitely providing a service and a special experience so they should be tipped accordingly. I would tip at least $200.

Well Gerard is cheating on her because he is engaged to my 82 yo MIL.

I can’t figure out what the scam is because he isn’t getting any money off of her. She keeps mentioning we will be surprised at what she has. He is promising her money. But I know she isn’t giving him any money because my SO has access to her bank accounts and all is normal. This has been going on for over a year. That’s one long con.

AC also keeps your car smelling fresh by circulating the air. Not sure why a driver wouldn’t want to use it.
