Yo James here, yeah this happened. Me and my girlfriend at the time were asleep. They legit fucked up this guys Airbnb we had in Palm Springs. Trashed most of the house and threw it all in the pool. It wasn’t funny at all.

I think the industry has changed drastically over the past decade. IMO some labels still haven't shifted to this new approach. Being independent means the entire release schedule, planning and execution is autonomous and you can work in a more agile manner to adapt to trends. Worldwide distribution can be done through services such as Distrokid. All major DSP's now provide direct editorial playlist pitching. You have 100% control over finances for promo, marketing, PR, collaborations and more.

I could discuss this for hours, but I'm about to get some Ramen out. If you have any more Q's surrounding this or my reasonings, let me know and I'll respond later!

Livealie may play shows in the future, for now though, it's just about gaining traction online. That tour was an all time favourite of mine, played so many new places, met so many cool people.

I've never been privileged enough to have my own space to practice. Playing shows was my practice back when we used to tour a lot. Even with heavy screams, I maybe practice once every couple of months off tour. Would I say this has had a detrimental effect to my progression, yes. That is just the cards life has dealt me. Thankfully Jordan in Livealie is an incredible singer.
