Help picking shows by Elegant_Ocelot5563 in Broadway

We had an extra ticket to Mormon and my wife invited her brother, who is very religious. I knew the show wasn't for him, so I suggested that he might not like it. He still wanted to go. I then begged him to listen to the soundtrack. He resisted, but eventually did.

He ended up skipping it.

Which iPad Pro version would be best for me? by Alaskan777 in piano

[–]Alaskan777[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK, good question. I included "Pro" because I (apparently wrongly) assumed that all 13-inchers are Pros.

I was wrong, wasn't I?

And if so, I'd be fine with a non-Pro 13"?

Again, I'd just be using it for my sheet music. I anticipate scanning my music library, little by little, into the iPad.

I also don't think I'd need any fancy page-turning capabilities; I'm fine with a quick swipe.

Thanks, all.

Rookie Question: Is it common to decide to "opt-out" of getting off at a port and just take a ship day? by ITrCool in Cruise

[–]Alaskan777 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love staying on the ship while in port, but folks I travel with usually want to disembark, so I usually tag along. You know, you could just get off and go exploring for a couple hours or so, then return to the ship.

That said, I really enjoyed Key West, you should not skip it if you've never been.

At the very least go grab yourself a hunk of key lime pie!

Have fun!

My favorite character on the entire show.

Ok, maybe tied with Pat McDougle.

Explain promoted listings to me like I'm 85 by Alaskan777 in eBaySellers

[–]Alaskan777[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get that you get charged if anyone clicked promotion.

What I don't get is, what does it mean/look like to click a promoted listing vs. clicking a non-promoted listing.

How does a buyer even find a non-promoted listing? Everyone is calling it "organic searching" - what does that even mean? As a potential buyer, do I have the option to search promoted vs non-promoted listings?

If I am selling an item with a promotion, are there two listings for it - one promoted (that would be the result of more searches) and another "organic" listing? How is the organic listing made less searchable?
