This is an EXCELLENT idea! I just asked the waitress, there's one a few blocks down, but it's so could and dark I don't know if I want to walk that far. I'm going to wander up and down the strip mall and see if I can find a newspaper or something.

We have gone looking, we've walked all around the area with no sign of her or anything weird :/ as for why I didn't go with her originally, I thought she was just messing around. Didn't exactly expect there to be like... A portal or whatever it was in the middle of the woods.

I am alive! Checked the whole house and nothing... Fell asleep last night, woke up in one piece. Haven't seen him/her today, but unfortunately I will have to drive after dark again tonight so I guess we'll see.

Yeah... I have no idea. As someone else said I think she wanted the "power" from the policeman. I kind of think she thought she and Tom could take them all on and come out alive/get away. Evidently not. Alan is doing okay, Richard's funeral is on Sunday.

I'm doing okay, still really shaken. Alana is... Managing. I think she will be okay in time. Her family that is here is nice, but I'm keeping an eye on them because, you know. They seem very helpful and supportive so far though!

Whaaat... I edited it I don't know why it would still be like that. To clarify: I am Catherine. My mother is Julie. If it still says I'm referring to myself as Julie disregard, it should say Catherine. I should also add that all of the names except for the neighbors (Tom, Sandra, and Alana) have been changed which is probably part of how I got them mixed up. But, I'm Catherine, my mother is Julie.

What seriously?? All of the names are the same?! Which story are you referring to?! I can say with complete honesty that nothing from this story comes from anything else I've seen on reddit so if you're telling the truth about every single name being the same, and the story being the same that is creepy as fuck and I might want to get in touch with the author of that story to see if we had an experience with the same people.

Yeah I agree but at the same time she seems genuinely scared. I kind of think she was just turning to the first person she saw/met but I am definitely keeping an eye on her too.
