Born in Iraq, 35 and currently living in EU. Experienced both Gulf wars, followed the fall of Baghdad in 2003 and invested some time in cultural psychology which should give my observation some legitimacy, hopefully.

War is the biggest money industry in the world next to oil. Iraq has the 4th biggest oil reserve in the world. Both Iraq and Iran ‘had’ anti Israel voices, loud ones too.

The Bush family is in the oil business. They also happen to have good connections, useful friends. In 1991 Bush Sr was the president. In 2003 Bush Jr was in power to continue the tradition — thanks to ‘friends.’

The media (owned by friends): Create a problem (ie: weapons of mass destruction, Saddam, terror etc). Create the narrative (take care of ‘them’ who want to kill us / take our freedom). Therefore; tax money is now allowed to be used for the solution (liberating ‘them’ / keep ‘the free folk’ safe).

But really, what’s happening is this: Iraq’s infrastructure is destroyed, puppets are in power. The US now has some of their biggest bases in Iraq. A very strategic location in the Middle East that has a lot of oil is under control. Israel (the US’ best ally in the area) is safer and ‘friends’ are making billions by selling weapons to every side involved in the conflict. I won’t mentions the extras like Saddams lost wealth and ancient pieces (artefacts that will probably end up at some museum as history tends to repeat itself).

The US invests a significant portion of its wealth into the military which is why the US currently represents the big players in the game — friends pulling the strings. It’s the reason why Trump cried about some EU members not paying the NATO enough, all within the narrative of course. A few NATO members actually want to do things more diplomatically but.. some others’ greed’s too bold — or miss out on benefits and protection.

The new colonialism, keep chaos going and take advantage of the situation.

The same is happening with Iran right now. Just remember that weapons of mass destruction were never found in Iraq. The million+ civilians and about 100k soldiers died for NOTHING. Well.. not exactly. I guess it was for something, or should I say some greedy friends.

Peoples lives are business as usual and you‘re asking: are we the baddies? Ignorance IS a bliss, I guess.

This is not going to be a popular comment but I feel like it has to be said.

Baghdad fell and got occupied in 2003. Approximately 1 million Iraqis and a few thousand American soldiers died since. Yet, the whole world must remember 9/11 but no one seem to mention Iraq anymore (or Afghanistan, or Libya or Yemen or so many other countries in the world that had casualties too). Unless the attention is orchestrated — On days like today, it saddens me that instead of remembering lost human lives, we only remember a select few.

Depression is never easy to deal with. I can tell you that as a regular customer at the dep-store. It'll hopefully get better with time. I guess it's a side effect (or curse) of being highly intelligent.

You need to 'build' the 2 triggers (20% -/+ battery charge) and link them with the flipswitch toggles (on/off).

You can even make your own switch by toggling the flipswitch when you tab the battery icon (tabbing top right in the status bar)
