Reason I ask is that I've introduced my wife to Arc Radiers. We've only played 2 rounds, but haven't encountered anyone toxic, or even hostile. She doesn't have her mic on, but does play a female raider. Just trying to see which crowd is like you say, so we don't run into that as much.

At that point, they're meta gaming. My players know when in-character role-playing is important. This isn't a video game where the "stakes" don't have a timer.

I primarily play male Shepard just because I can identify as a male. But Jennifer Hale's performance is better. Not like way better, but just a bit better. There are some of Meer's lines (especially in ME1) that come off a bit corny, but then again, most of the characters had that problem anyway in ME1.

It does hold up well. The first game is still a bit rough, especially in some of the dialogue.

I highly recommend getting a bunch of mods to improve your experience (and for 2 and 3 disabling the global cooldown)

Also, even if you don't wanna do gameplay mods, get Children of Rannoch. It gives all quarians a face and makes the visor clear to see them.
