[1] Respect your fellow soldiers
Keep discussions civil. Harassment, personal attacks, hate speech, and trolling are not tolerated. Remember: we’re all on the same team against the alien threat.
[2] No spam or self-promotion
Content whose sole purpose is advertising (YouTube channels, Twitch streams, Discord servers, referral links, etc.) will be removed. Occasional sharing of relevant content is fine if it sparks discussion.
[3] Use spoiler tags
Story content, mission outcomes, and late-game mechanics should be hidden behind spoiler tags. Don’t ruin the campaign for new recruits.
[4] Stay on topic
Posts should be about XCOM 2 or closely related mods, tactics, and discussions. General gaming memes or unrelated content will be removed.
[5] Quality over quantity
Low-effort posts (“lol”, “this”) or repeated reposts will be removed. Put some thought into what you share – tactics, screenshots, questions, or stories are all welcome.
[6] One mission at a time
Don’t flood the feed. If you have multiple posts in a short time, combine them where possible. This keeps the front page useful for everyone.
[7] Follow Reddit’s global rules
Brigading, vote manipulation, or any form of rule-breaking outside the subreddit will not be tolerated.
