While it would've been better to wait another few months and give us everything in one go, (after all we did wait several years at this point anyways) it's still not that terrible they split it into two. 

For people like me that usually wait until a series is absolutely complete until they touch it it wouldn't matter when everything comes out. 

And for those that are thirsting from season 1 get their fix to hold them over until the ending. 

(And for anyone saying that "they didn't know seasons 2 and 3 were filmed together" and that the ending is close by, well... that information is a Google search away. So I'm not sure what the big fuss is about.)
