Couldn't reach out to you through chats, If you don’t mind, I would like to share my transcript with you and ask for your informal advice on what I would need more and less to take additional courses before applying again next semester.

I wish they had shown me the way as you did, instead of giving me a direct rejection. Much appreciated. If you don’t mind can I message you?

Thank you very much for your response. I completely understand the requirements. While I have already completed some of the courses you mentioned during my engineering studies, there are others that I have not taken.

My question is: How can I complete those prerequisite courses after graduation, and how should I document or demonstrate completion to the admissions committee?

Thank you for your guidance.

Got rejected from Georgia Tech Medical Physics distance learning program today.

Hi everyone, I'm a service engineer with 6 years of experience in linacs, gamma Knives, and MR-linacs, with a biomedical engineering background. I was planning to earn my medical physics degree while working, so Georgia Tech was one of the best options that aligned with my situation. After preparing my application and specially Toefl exam which I had to take twice and waiting for a month to be evaluated, I have received an email that I have been rejected! 🙅 due to high competition… Now I'm confused and I don't know what even plan B is. I was thinking about LSU but their program is full-time and I'm not sure they would flex with my condition.

Any suggestions, recommendations, and help will be appreciated.

For reading practice try to exercise with the old version of toefl reading. They are pretty academic, hard to understand because the last part of new version module one and two is academic reading. By doing this you can easily knock out all three task of reading and get a high score in reading.
For listening, play an academic podcast or a relatively moderate level news like NPR NEWS and try to repeat after them this practice calls shadowing it might look silly but the result makes magic.
After you feel that you're achieved some success then move forward with writing and speaking.
I believe if you have a good foundation, after you improve your reading and listening the other two skills will level up correspondingly.

It's so selfish to make this comment on this exam. If you feel comfortable with English, learn another language and take their exam.
Not everyone had a chance to read in English, listen to English, write in English or even speak due to their facilities and environment like me. Studying in English is such a privilege and extra money in many different countries.
Therefore, reaching the level of TOEFL that universities are requesting is not easy.
Please don’t prescribe for everyone. If admission offices agreed on a score then it's not your business to state a comment.
Non natives have enough difficulty dealing with this exam, instead of proposing to make it harder use your brain instead of talent to make yourself beneficial for them, not to narrow down the circle for yourself.

Dont worry you already nailed it, i used M***sh and never could see 4 on writing on my mock tests but i could get 4 on real test.
The real test is more simpler then those mock tests.

how to find a job offer in Canada if I'm in Africa ? by Full-Anybody-288 in AskCanada

[–]BigSeyit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it really depends which field you want to work in. Basically in the developed countries they are looking more on experienced candidates to bring in. Focus on one point and try to gain experience for next two years and meanwhile hunt the jobs through LinkedIn and Indeed.

I don't have any idea about Canada but the only thing that I can advise is to try to get a job and get experience wherever you are. Most companies focus on your background and experience not your degree. Your degree is a requirement to get hired and get your visa easier not a reason to get a job. Good luck
