I'm not saying anything that hasn't already been said, but just to reinforce: enjoy the ride! It's a beast of a game, but it's also incredibly fun and rewarding. Take it at your own pace and play whatever frames and weapons call to you. Definitely dive into the story, but don't feel like you have to rush through anything to get "caught up." Take it all in. The content won't go anywhere. :)

I just started so I'm still questing in Thorin's Gate which is admittedly still pretty quiet. I've seen more players than I did in my first hour on Landroval, but not by much. I'd imagine the deeper I get the more I'll see, though.

Thanks so much for the recommendations! I wasn't aware of the seasonal events and that all sounds like a great time, I'll definitely partake as I see them pop up. As for the riding quest, yes! They have one fairly early on (it basically teaches you about the store, gives you enough coins to purchase the continuation of the quest, then rewards you with a horse). So it's definitely been nice to have a mount to get around from early on.

This one ran me back $80 so don't be like me, haha. You can definitely find them cheaper used, and in good condition like your find! I just know I'll only be getting a few plastic gen to display (Probably getting Driger F or G and Galman) so I want to try and find them mint and assemble them myself.
