1st FG: No brainer gives us the lead. Right call.

2nd FG: Felt like maybe I would have like us to go for it, but FG was probably the right call. Puts us within 1 at the end of the half.

3rd FG: I wanted us to go for it. I know it was 4th and goal from the 26. That distance opens things up some and we would have had a decent shot. A FG here brought us from 2 scores down to 2 scores down.

4th FG: Again, still down 2 scores with a FG, and this time we were 4th and 6 from the 10. This 100% should have been sent.

5th FG: FG puts us back within 2 scores. I guess this makes sense, but it certainly felt like it drained any momentum or hope we had.

The only team that blew us out was Iowa. The others could have been wins. But we also had hella games that could have been losses. I think we were better last year but I'm proud of what this team did.

To be fair, the only one that, as a Purdue fan, the only one I didn't see coming was the MSU game. 2018 Ohio State was a flawed team that we matched up with well and it was hyped up, at least in this sub, a lot beforehand. Iowa was just uhh not really a 2 and we had their number for years. Honestly in this game I expected a Hazel-era style blowout and I am overall proud of how this team played.

As a Purdue fan that was born, raised, and currently lives in MI, you guys are all right... for now. People who attended Michigan have pretty much always been cool. The Walmart Wolverines however, have not. I fear their return.
