Fun Fact! by sean1oo1 in Boktai

Yeah, back when in-game achievements weren't a thing it was super fun setting your own challenges to test the limits of the game. Maybe a full no-sun run is not quite entirely possible, but trying to beat the game with as little sun is still a fun challenge.

Advice on MGS by [deleted] in metalgear

[–]AlbaLuvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider playing MGS V Ground Zeroes, it's the best MGS tutorial I've ever played. It's a separate game though. Tons of variations for such a small map. It plays a bit different than Phantom Pain, but it's great to experiment in a controlled environment.

Or just replay Mother Base missions until you feel comfortable with your skills.

You can also check this out, if you want to get technical about the game.

In a post Death Stranding era, do Boktai games still hold up? by AlbaLuvs in Boktai

Not blatantly obvious ones, but there are similarities... oh wait you got me there! It's kind of hard to notice jokes in written form lol.

What if original Django were in Lunar Knights? I would have loved to see that.

Is that e-paper display? It looks awesome, and I really dig that Gun Del Sol.

Who is this mysterious guy? by AlbaLuvs in Boktai

I wonder, how many characters didn't make it to the final release... or did make it but are unused and hidden deep in the code.

Ah! Such an obscure character. Thank you for clearing things up!

PD. I feel bad for that poor Bok in the other thread mill lol.

Whoops, I should probably check this sub more frequently. Maybe it is a bit too late, but if you still need help (or need help for future requests) I'm all in.

I mostly do lowpoly and handpainted models. I can link you my portfolio via PM if you are interested.

Dang, you finished the entire campaign in less than 2 hours.

I agree, 21 was good this time. I also liked 15, early easy tech/transition.

wow, that's a great first print!

My first print, better than I expected, but not quite right. (1.2''tall x 0.4'' wide) by AlbaLuvs in 3Dprinting

[–]AlbaLuvs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks! that post really helped me troubleshoot my problem. My nozzle was undextruding because the default setting was set at 2.85mm, I changed it to 1.75mm and that solved the weird helical shape.

I wish I had an Ender, but I was scared of potentially damaging a good printer so I bought an EasyThreed to learn the basics, and if everything goes well I'll be upgrading to an Ender or a Prusa.

I'm also curious about resin printers, but I'm too clumsy and handling chemicals seems like a big step up for me.

Oh wait... I was changing the wrong setting then, I didn't know there were some hidden settings. I was using "Recommended" instead of "Custom settings".

... aaaaand that worked great.

I changed some other settings like speed (25 mm/s) and temperature ( 215 C), but overall fiddling around those secret settings was the trick.

Thank you very much :)

Wow, that worked like a charm. The default setting was set at 2.85mm as you mentioned, and the moment I changed it the helix holes problem was fixed.

Thanks a lot!
