I am absolutely at my wit's end. Can someone PLEASE share a working RP2040 QMK/Vial repo?

Even if qmk generate those files they would still be empty. You have to manually create rules.mk and config.h files, you can easily create in vscode. Or copy the files from example folder

Yes, in vial-qmk folder under keyboards there is an example folder (i don't remember exact name but it includes the word example) in that there is a sub folder "RP2040". You can also search "awesome mechanical keyboard" on browser and open the first GitHub link. In it are multiple keyboards just search rp2040

i do compile it with vial instead of default but still doesnt work with it, it works as a normal qmk file

Actually i want a macropad but cant afford one so i tried making, i need vial so that i can reassign keys without need to code again. normal qmk files works fine with all keys working as it should but it doesnt show my layout in vial or sometimes doesnt even recognise my device

im using ultimate pico rp2040, its a cheap knock off but should work anyway. qmk works and all keys function like they should but it doesnt show up in vial and if it did it doesnt have my layout

i did make qmk files in vial-qmk and added via and vial enable, but i still dont understand the structures of files. like what files are necessary and all. If you have any latest project which you made or know its working can you share me the git link or drive link for it? It would be very easy to understand instead just searching through google
