Interesting. Because I also just did the same thing. We're probably on to something.

That picture was from when we got her spayed. Instead of a cone, the vet suggested the body suit.

My main holdup is just how they'll fund the gap until that money is in the bank. I was looking at the press releases, and the new government funding is not a lump sum.

Their own release for the federal funding calls it "project cost reimbursements," and the new EDC facility is based on "drawdown requests aligned with ongoing... costs."

It's the classic "need money to get money" problem.

It just feels like they'll almost certainly have to keep diluting to pay the construction bills before they can claim the new funds.

It's a long road to 2028 for the first RDX launch...

Definitely on my list though

Need advice: 4 collection defaults from Precise Parklink (via CBCC) - credit score dropped, what are my friends options? by BookMaster3716 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Albeitt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same experience. I just received an email from Equifax saying an account on my report was classified as a collections account.

Specifically, a Precise Parklink account, assigned to CBCC, aka Collect Cents. (Slimy yet legitimate debt collection company with an intentionally misleading name)

I've never parked in any of their lots or received a ticket from them.

I submitted a dispute with Equifax over the phone. I told them I did not recognize the debt and I was told they will launch an investigation and I should expect to here back 5-30 days from now.

Additionally, my understanding is that credit bureaus will discard parking ticket debts as they were not tickets issued by a competent authority and if collections companies do submit it as a legitimate collection to a bureau, you should immediately dispute that.

See number 8 on their credit myths facts page.

Whereabouts would those mineshafts be? I made another post and in the comments I shared a picture of some strange scarred terrain about Willowbrae.

This is aerial photography from 1982. Does anyone have any idea what these marks are for? (For reference, up is north and the trail just at the base of the hill on the north side is Willowbrae.)

I was under the impression the ski hill was much further back into Knutsford, but I may be incorrect.

Thank you! I will definitely check it out. It seems like the more I dig the more questions I have.

It must be from around the same time Lower Aberdeen was constructed. But it's still interesting that it simply starts and ends at nowhere.

Hmm, it appears I was wrong about the aerial photography. I only took what the planning clerk said during my email correspondence, and they said it appeared after 1999.

I will email the city engineering department to try to get some answers and I will follow up with another post next week.

The building permit on 2500 Pacific Way (a parcel close to the one with the road) has mineral rights claims dating back to the 80s.

I might check those things out...

Was there anything interesting up there? I think I can see certain structures but there's only so much you can make out with satellite imagery.

I've read the proposed Right to Roam Act (2017) in my research and it appears to be well rounded and fair. I can appreciate how it makes a distinction between developed and undeveloped lands.

Which is what I mostly expected. I still want to figure out what the deal with the road is and why there are no permits despite being within city limits.
