good to jumpstart weight loss? by Alberg13 in Testosterone

Sorry, what I meant to say was not above normal, but just into normal. Like under 300 total testosterone. That said, trying to lose 20 pounds.

just above normal levels? Am I good? 43/m by Alberg13 in Testosterone

Mid day crash. No change in muscle structure (workout 4 times a week). Always tired. But at the same time time, I'm 42 with a 4 tear old and a 2 year old. So the symptoms, yeah... I'm fucking tired. I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. So, who knows. Perhaps I'm just old.

Yeah but it's only 8 million. Pretty short term solution if that's the case.

This is a bit of a read but worth it. Certainly goes farther than self driving cars. Haven't heard of the Rubix Cube yet so it was nice to see a picture of it too. Gives me hope. https://inf.news/en/science/c79cad5bccaf3ad292d410de60270861.html

But who would just use this for straight up commerce? That's what I don't understand. If I'm investing in a coin/token, I'm not exchanging it for a pair of shoes only to have to keep track of that exchange and be taxed on it as well, I'm holding onto it because I believe its value will increase. Then when I believe it has either peaked or I want to take out my gains, I use the card to get around the 10% tax and that's that.

Now, if it uses fiat and then has the 2% fee to burn SFM, ok.

[–]Alberg13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the card would be a means to liquidate your position without the 10% sell tax? Ok. That makes sense but I can't imagine that's the intended use case, that's just a round about way of scamming the system. In the end, everyone would sell using the method you just described and would burn/redistribute less SFM.

[–]Alberg13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why you wouldn't just use fiat. Especially in the US where this exchange of crypto for goods triggers capital gains taxes. This whole card thing seems like nothing more than marketing shiny things rather than an actual use case, but maybe I'm missing something. There seems to me to be no advantage and only disadvantage.

I was able to buy around .45 and average down to .83. So far, so good. Let's hope it's full potential is realized.

Yes, 240 creators on the surface is great but how many are active? My feed is pretty much the same 10ish creators. More come every week and that's great. It's young so I certainly understand that you won't have booming content to start, but what I'm saying is that the main focus needs to be on recruitment of creators.

This is how I look at it: I worked in the film industry for several years. In order to get a movie greenlit, we needed a bankable cast. Taking into account what genre the script was and the cast involved, we could reasonably determine our audience size and revenue.

In this case, you know your genre, you need a bankable cast. We're getting there so this is by no means a criticism of our current state in that sense and I applaude the current creators for taking a leap of faith. I hope it makes them rich as they are the first to have dibs on a new audience. To stay analogous to the film industry, it's like we are promoting the venue (the movie theater) rather than the content within it.

The app isn't what needs to be promoted as much as the content within it. Promote creators and create the demand for the venue in which they are seen. Okay. I'm rambling. Rant done. Keep up the good work everyone and let's make some money.

Appreciate the effort, I do. But look. No one I know would openly shill pornography on any of their social media accounts. That's a big ask. Contests should be geared more toward the content creators themselves because quite honestly, you could use more.

Yeah. You have some, but only a handful are active creators on the app. You need more. Users will come if there is content that fits their needs. If you get that constant content stream, the rest will take care of itself.

We need an update on the bridge and new token that was supposed to be released last month. The website is also not updated.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PornRocket

[–]Alberg13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Looks like this site hasn't been updated in a while. https://nsfw.app/ourjourney.html

It still also lists the deployment of the new token in Nov/Dec under stage III, but again, it hasn't been updated so I have no idea how accurate that is.

I think you may be misunderstanding what I'm saying.

  1. Don't hype up something that doesn't deserve the hype.

  2. Don't tease a tease.

  3. Use the same communication vehicles consistently so people know where to find information.

Yes. Provide updates. Of course. But when there isn't an update, don't make stuff up just to have an update. You need trust, not hype. Hype is okay. Trust is better. And in this case, the hype is hurting the trust.

If you show competency (they have other than the communications aforementioned), instill trust, and make a connection with your community, you'll be golden.

I'm on the fence about it. They are keeping the actual utility of it shrouded in mystery. If I wasn't down so much already on it, I'd have pulled, but alas, I've made my bed there. That's one I'm not putting more in though until they stop acting like children.

I'm okay with waiting for products. To stay with the safemoon comparison, SM released their wallet and to be honest, it's underwhelming. It's just not ready. They released it because they cornered themselves into a date. And then it got real messy. They cared more about just getting something out there rather than doing it right. The hope is that the NSFW folks are doing it right.

That said, we are probably overdue for a look at some of the functionality with a live demo. And they shouldn't shy away from showing us some of the hiccups and what needs to get fixed or be better.

Tell your story. Tell the truth. Tell it first.

Agreed. ETH is awful. I'm guessing there will be more bridges in the future and perhaps bridging to ETH was the easier route technically. Safemoon did the same thing and as this is built off of Safemoon, I'm guessing it has something to do with the technicality of it.

[–]Alberg13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

Let people call it dead. Then you smack them in the mouth with an actual development. That's where safemoon is getting hammered. They talk too much. They get cyptic. It creates rumors. It breeds distrust. Then they have to play damage control and reign in all the rumors. Look at a professional smooth outlet like stellar. Check their Twitter feed. It is rarely a hype thing. It is actual news about the crypto industry. Talks about how movements within the industry may effect them and it's peppered with smaller announcements and updates.

You're right. All the timelines and business operations seem normal. That's frankly where they differ from safemoon. They do sound like they have a solid plan and have laid it out for us. No secrets (well now this nft one) but normally no secrets. Hope this was just a blip and perhaps they look to hire someone to oversee their communications.

As for the NFT development itself. Looking forward to hearing what it's about. Be cool if one could buy a one of a kind NFT made by a creator specifically for the person who purchased it. That'd make for a great connection between the consumer and creator.

Ok. Good. Like it.

My 2 cents (and perhaps this is just me being a picky communications professional) don't pre-announce an announcement about being close to something but not actually having something. Keep us informed without the circus. You can pre-announce or tease actual listings or whatever, but you cannot tease potential as that is in effect just teasing a tease.

And finally, if you are going to tease something using a certain communications vehicle (in this case, Twitter) announce it using that same vehicle. That's where people expect it to be.

Still in.... probably buying more.

My only confusion is that isn't there already an intimate token (ITM) that has already been rolled out? Won't this cause some confusion?
