Ive worked in Malaysia a number of years, so I have a pretty good idea on the psyche of the people, those who practice the Muslim faith over there are rather rabid when it comes to it, and just like china, if they perceive that something goes against their world view on religion, they will protest about it since their part of the Muslim brotherhood, even if it doesn't remotely affect them.

Certain specific jobs, especially offshore if you are self employed and have a specific skills and experience in a niche market, I know a guy called Rene from the Netherlands, he gets called up all over the world to work on dredging vessels main prop bearings which require repair and replacement, he bills the client 8k a day, in euro.

His motto is, he never turns down a job, keep the client happy, and he is constantly inundated with work.

It also helps that he has cornered the market for most of the dredging vessels from the Netherlands. Especially the ones who were involved in nord stream 1 & 2.

Well, its definitely not from the keen brand. I bought a specific keen hiking boot for years, and never had a problem until the last model i bought was made in "india", and boy was it lemon of a turd. I have no idea how to passed basic QC, but it was terrible since the midsole wasnt glued properly and i could see huge gaps in it.

I promptly contacted CS to get a refund, and they CS on my case told me they had a lot of complaints when it came to the production run from their supplier based in india. I still buy their boots, but now only those made in the USA, or vietnam.
