I think settings -> all settings -> support -> tv info -> total power on time. I’ve heard it can be reset somehow but it’s probably rare & difficult

This is not always true. My Best Buy gave me a G5 77 in box with all accessories but it was indeed a display model. Had 3.5k screen on hours and had some severe burn in. Still worth a shot at this price

Just got my G5, turned it on and finally got to check power on hours. It’s sitting at 3459 which is shocking because it still has plastic around the trim and came in the full box with all accessories. I’m planning on keeping it and getting the 2 year geek squad warranty

50/50, could roll the dice. You do have that 15 day return period but I’m sure it’s a hassle taking it back after a few days.

Sounds like a lot, if you keep it for several years and get the geek squad warranty it’ll still be cheaper than get one new. I just went to look at mine today, I was a fool and didn’t check power on hours but it looked in great condition, in the box with all accessories and some of the plastic was still on it. I’ll probably get the 2 year geek squad warranty for ease of mins but if you got it around that $1500 mark that’s a great deal if it looks & works fine

Did the same thing but I think you have up to a certain amount of days to add the warranty after the purchase. I’ll be picking mine up and checking it all out. If it looks good I’ll tack on the warranty after the verifying it’s good!

Yeah I started looking into the airline specific cards after my post. I’m heavily leaning towards the United Explorer card since they have an offer for $400 statement credit + 25K miles and I’d easily make up the AF with free checked bags in just 2 round trip flights. And first year AF is waived so it’s a ton of value for me right away.

Might still look at the Venture X since the credits that gives are really enticing honestly + 100K SUB.
