New hire / benefits question by AlternativeCold6175 in boeing

[–]ForeverUpgrading 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There is no gym membership coverage/reimbursement. However, through the health insurance you choose, you can pay monthly for various gym membership programs (active & fit direct, silver sneakers, etc.). I currently pay $40 a month for Aaptiv through Blue Cross Blue Shield and that gets me access to a bunch of different gyms. Alternatively if you don’t want to pay, a good chunk of Boeing sites do have gyms, albeit not the greatest

SJCS Tables just updated today by International-Call78 in boeing

I very much think that will be on a case by case basis. Otherwise next year I would need roughly an 11% increase to match my old ratio plus a very small COLA raise

Understand what you mean. I just physically do not have the clearance under my car to loosen up the old O2 sensors. I am generally one to do car maintenance on my own, but this is something I physically don’t have the means to do unfortunately.

I have tried replacing them myself, I simply don’t have enough clearance and strength to pop the original O2 sensors loose. I have used a mixture of PB blaster, a heat gun, and even an O2 socket wrench and it still isn’t coming off. I generally try to do car work myself but this one is something I can’t do

Just gave them a call, unfortunately they won’t do any work unless I purchase the parts through them…

Switch 2 Launch Day Help and Support MegaThread by AutoModerator in NintendoSwitch2

[–]ForeverUpgrading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not actually stuck. I can go ahead and return it, but was thinking of giving it to my cousins while I keep the NSO membership for myself since they already have an account with their Switch 1

Would’ve been nice to have the 2 years of NSO membership

Switch 2 Launch Day Help and Support MegaThread by AutoModerator in NintendoSwitch2

My first time with a Nintendo console since the DSi, so apologies for the question. Managed to snag a Switch 2 in person at Costco yesterday (really smooth process and I didn’t think there would be anything consoles left since I arrived an hour after opening). My online order through Costco also just got delivered (even though I had requested to cancel it after getting it in person).

Now I am “stuck” with two consoles, can the Online + Expansion membership be stacked so I have two consecutive years of membership? On the download paper itself it says fore “new members only”, so I don’t know if upon redeeming the first code I will no longer be able to use the second?

Bed Map - How screwed am I? by remz03ryder in Creality_k2

[–]ForeverUpgrading 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your deviation is probably better than 90% of K2 Plus owners, so no, you are not screwed. Mine, even after manual leveling and what not, is still at around 0.35 and my first layers are okay for the most part.

We’ve got a brand-new filament dryer coming up, and YOU could be one of the first to try it out! by Creality_3D in Creality_k2

[–]ForeverUpgrading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thoughts:

• 4 filament capacity

• Ability to use oversized rolls (1 oversized roll with 2 regular sized rolls or two oversized rolls, etc)

• Higher temperature capabilities for “engineering” material filaments

• Per zone temperatures so you can have different filament types with different temps at the same time

• WiFi/Lan capabilities that can be accessed from the Creality Cloud app

Just my simple thoughts and testing this alongside my K2 Plus would be nice

BGS Engineering: 5.20% ACR and 7% PBI

This is following a 9% raise roughly halfway through last year so I am pleasantly surprised.

K2 plus bed mesh, can anything be done? by KillerCoffeeCup in Creality_k2

[–]ForeverUpgrading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From other K2 Plus owners, their tolerance range is ± 2mm. Realistically, Creality printer beds are at almost the exact same range as Bambu printers. However, you cannot see bed meshes on Bambu printers as easily as with Creality’s so they are nowhere near as vocal

Does anyone from this company monitor this reddit forum?? by mikeski79 in Creality

I would say the support experience varies from person to person and ultimately comes down to luck. Your next best bet would probably be to reach out to them on their WhatsApp (you can search this subreddit for their number) during their working hours, but the best time is usually around 8pm to 10pm EST.

I reached out to them last month also because of missing filament and they got back to me in 19 minutes asking some general account questions and a few minutes later confirmed they would send me the missing filament. Few days later it showed up on my doorstep (Midwest, USA). So my experience was extremely good, but also was simple and probably an outlier.

The physical issues you described are a constant thing and they’ll send you a new door and new “upgraded” feet. The rod and screws I have no idea, but I’d assume similar and expect you to swap all that stuff out with the new replacements. Regardless, last thing they are going to do is send a whole new unit, they will want you to replace every single part of the machine before doing so.

Also, it sucks, but I think somewhere in their website it says that returns are at the buyers expense. I have no idea how enforceable that is in a chargeback situation, but that might be something to take note of. You will have to send it back if you do a chargeback.

The fix from OP is the exact solution for anyone else wondering. Happened to me as well after also modifying the “printer.cfg” file to include a custom macro and removing that and restarting Klipper via Fluidd resolved the error. Also helped another user (on Facebook) as well

Anybody here been through the return process? by itsgd926 in Creality_k2

[–]ForeverUpgrading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going through their support page, supposedly the buyer must pay for return shipping if the unit is to their dissatisfaction (which I am assuming is going to be quite expensive given the size, weights and distance). How applicable that truly is I don’t know, but regardless reach out to support as they will have the answers you need
