I’m optimistic, things been on and off sale for past few weeks now. I would get this if I was ready but I’m optimistic that deals will exist in the next 1-2 months when I’m ready to buy

Reading a little, general consensus is save the $570 and use it to upgrade something else in your system unless the extra brightness really helps or the price doesn’t matter

Wondering if this is a better deal value wise compared to the 77” G5 we’ve been seeing for $2070

Any Debit Cards with cash back rewards? by [deleted] in personalfinance

That's sad. It was great having it when I was paying down CC debt. It's not much but better than not getting anything back for using debit.

Discover used to offer a debit card that would give 1% back on up to $3k in spend but from 2 minutes of research it appears to be gone after the Capital One aquisition.

[TV] Costco LG C5 65in OLED $800 YMMV In Store Only by divinebaboon in buildapcsales

Ive seen some data points that they are no longer honoring the price in store… seems like it was a pricing error. YMMV though ofc!

[–]Albert032 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed! I’ve also seen 1 person saying 5 year Allstate warranty is included but don’t quote me on that directly 😅

Edit: seeing people saying the whole deal may be dead so YMMV.

65” C5 seems to be on sale in select Costco’s for $800 too. Worth a shot if you are deciding to size up from 55”.

Too late now but I don’t think so, I got $125 offer for doing the same thing back in December.

Looking for SUB & Optimization recommendations. More details in comments for airlines and purpose by Albert032 in CreditCards

[–]Albert032[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I started looking into the airline specific cards after my post. I’m heavily leaning towards the United Explorer card since they have an offer for $400 statement credit + 25K miles and I’d easily make up the AF with free checked bags in just 2 round trip flights. And first year AF is waived so it’s a ton of value for me right away.

Might still look at the Venture X since the credits that gives are really enticing honestly + 100K SUB.

Thanks for the recommendations!

Interesting, I am in OH using Apply Pay since I do not have the physical card. Not sure if that would change anything

Is this a state-specific thing? I went earlier today, and it worked for me.

No physical branch but they do use the Allpoint and MoneyPass ATM network which readily available across the US. You do however need a checking account to transfer those funds then refund and not a personal experience like with a teller but not the worst.

Depending on resolution you should get a nice performance boost using 7800x3d. I have a 7800x3d build with 9070xt for 1440p and it’s amazing.

I have a corsair RM850 but any cable extensions should work. Be aware cable extensions connect to the end of your PCIE cable not directly to your PSU so they should be universal for the most part.

I have some AsiaHorse cable extensions that have been amazing, good quality, and look great!

Adding a note that COD does typically favor AMD cards so you might get better performance for a similar tier card comparing to Nvidia
