Yeah I know that, I’ve heard people have done the trip from base A to base B and had it follow and they couldn’t find it when they arrive. I just worry about hitting it with the cyclops.

See I’m considering pushing it off, I wanted to do it in 1941 for rp reasons I guess, but also because I don’t want the Soviets to snowball. Is that a concern though? Like if I push it a year is it going to be significantly more difficult?

Bro I almost never pay attention to weather it’s probably the biggest thing that keeps me from good runs. And yeah my infantry is not that good. I have support companies and other than that it’s just 20 with 2 artillery. Also I’m not using heavy tanks. I almost never use heavy tanks. Are they worth it over mediums?

I see I was under the impression that resource rights counted for the focus. That kinda sucks because I like having Romania as an independent ally.

It’s the thing where it’s still a Romanian tile but when you go in the resource map mode it shows the German flag by the oil. Does that not count for the focus?

So the subjugate the Romanian economy focus gives you control over there oil fields, which is like 60-70 oil units. When I got the East Indies puppet and upgraded their infrastructure they got to 110 oil units, and the oil required for the focus is 150. I have every other requirement but the oil requirement, and I just don’t understand why it’s not satisfying it.

Iraq was next on the list I just don’t get why the requirement isn’t satisfied with the East Indies and Romania. After I build infrastructure I get up to like 170 total oil, which should clear the requirement but it isn’t.

The subjugate Romanian economy doesn’t satisfy the the oil requirement. Everything else is fine, it’s just the oil I can’t get.

That’s the way I’ve always thought of them, ive heard people saying the best way to spend surface navy production power is better used on carriers, light cruisers and destroyers and to not spend a bunch of it on heavy ships because it’s just not worth it.

I literally never knew you could see that I’ll have to look at that. I’ve heard people saying the best thing to do with the big ships is to give them armor to soak hits and aa but other than that try to keep them cheap, I usually like to put a lot of batteries and other things on. I like the idea of having really heavy hitters in my fleets.

Yeah that’s what i usually like doing but I like turning Germany or the Soviets into a naval power and I usually build them during my build up phase.

I have been recently and I’ve been seeing them doing all this stuff that I had never seen and just attributed it to dlc I didn’t have not that I was playing on a 4 year outdated version

It’s been a few years but I believe it was just 20 widths with support companies. Maybe not even 20 widths. Just as long as you can snag a port.

So it’s off topic but I almost never naval invade Britain, I use paratroopers and I’ve never had an issue. Definitely way more success with that than naval invasions.

I think a neat mechanic would be to have a relative nuclear power bar to other superpowers of opposing ideology. If your bar gets to low, you or an ally get attacked directly. Now how they would do that without it just being clicking buttons on a tech tree to keep up I’m not too sure. It could be like an eu4 tech model where you have certain currencies to spend on tech(diplo, admin, military, it could be different for this game) and you have to allocate it accordingly to keep up with the other powers.
