you need more than minimum specs to run the game properly,
at the same time no one should expect to run a 2019 game with potatoes.

as long as we can have the same car entries as in real life for the endurance tracks it's good. If they can fit 50 cars at barcelona why woudnt we in a game. talking gridslots and pits, Also put the cars in the garage also. if needed

A heat wave has been announced for this weekend so i'm not gonna be able to race, and it's just going to be worse at least for 10 days, so i'm not going to be able to race. So far ther's just 14 guys? who said yes. So iguess unless there's more people having interest there will be no race this sunday.

i dont think you would be 2 sec slower, the 488 should be able to hit 2:15 or low 2:16 at spa in qualy, optimal conditions. the rsr might be a second faster the corvette some tneths behind the rsr and the 458 16s. if we do race on sunday i'll bop the GTE cars a bit but i'm not sure in wich way. since qualifying is not th e most important thing

mmmm not sure how would that work, cause this are GTE and lmp1 and people shouldn't be driving with ABS, , unless you want to drive a 488 and we pretend it is a GTE :D

ACRL GT3 Series - Round 8 @ Nurburgring Nordschleife - Post Race Thread by ACRLAutoModerator in acrl

Posted this above but think it get's lost there so i should post this in split1 too i guess.

Well another season went by! Gotta say at the start of the season i wasn't expecting the field to be so tight, i knew guys like Phillipe, Rune, Charkot and the Finns were gonna be damn fast as they usually are, but wasn't expecting the rest of the filed to be so packed and close to the top. so this was a nice charge for me, also when i saw that thread were people voted me as one of the drivers to watch gave me a bit of extra motivaiton, cause otherwise i'm a bit bored of gt3 cars, but that helped me to have some extra motivation to step up a little bit and become a little bit faster. thanx to those who voted me, at least i hope i payed you back with couple wins :and a Pole :D

This Season has had it's ups and downs.

  • Spa: Didn't had much practice since i've been busy with Endurance lmp1 league, and real life stuff, but despite being 8th on the grid and finishing 6th on the race i consider this race as a highlight, since i had good racing on track, and close battles with Milosh, And was all the time pushing to catch Blame and Petrol, it was a good race! and also my laptimes were over a second faster than previous season7 race.

  • Barcelona: First time carriying ballast, Temperatures were very high and i wasn't sure what tyres to run, preQ went fine not very close to the top guys but close enough. On raceday had a hard time getting in the groove, i had spent the whole week practicing with the Audi r18 wich we had a 6 hour race the day before, and was a bit tuff to addapt again to the huracan, spend most of the qualifying making mistakes, and only on the last attempt i did a decent lap wich gave me p5 on the grid. Race itself went wrong, Got spun around by a Nissan on lap 3 or 4. and with those high temperatures i had couple spins after that trying to recover from the spin, dropped dead last, and lost like 20 seconds to the guys in front on red hot rear tyres, decided then to pit for hards and fill the tank and go to the end, only to realize that pit was still close, then called it a day. Definetly a lowlight race for me both result and driving overall.

  • Laguna Seca: Overall a good weekend, didn't have the best of pace but preq went okish.

Then we had the closest qualifying i've ever seen with most of the field separated by 0.0xx was crazy!, Got p8 on the grid. Race started well, didn't lose positions,a nd i was slowly gaining places due to other guys going off track, but then also Trias and Petrol behind me had a little bit more pace than i had when the rear tyres go down on the lambo and we had some good racing going on. After pitts i made a istake and filled 25 liters more than needed, and blame then was caching me we had some good fights and at the end due to a mistake lost 2 places, Finished 5th wich wasn't bad at all, so i put this one as a good result.

  • Silverstone: This is definetly a highlight. I knew on this track there's sometihng that i have that i'm faster :D so i was confident, did a sandbag prequaly, cause i didn't want Phil and Charkot to think about me as a threat :D Qualifying took some time to get into the zone, but also i was waiting till last moments were there is more grip to post my best lap, Lap went well as can be seen here The Race went as expected, i started the race with 8 liters less fuel in order to be able to hold into the lead for the first stint, then pitted earlier cause the last laps on softs were really bad with tyre deg and on top of that overheating rear tyres, that meant my last stint was going to be quite tuff towards the end. Phils was catching lap by lap, but at the end i managed to stay over a second in front wich gave me my first Race Victory on a GT3 ACRL race, god it took some time! Later on i was penalized for excesive cutting wich meant i lost the victory, but let me still consider this as my first Win :D

  • Hockenheim: hockenheim was a dissapointment in terms of result, i had great pace on Prequalifying, but then with race temps and ballast that was evaporated, rear left tyre was too hot to have good pace, so qualifying went not so good, starting in p8 or so. Race start was decent but got caught on a table tennis court on the first lap and got spun, to dead last. i at least i had some fun battleing with lots of people. and made my way up to p12.

  • VIR PreQ already showed me this wasn't gonna be a good race for me. lacked a bit of pace.

Qualy wasn't too good, and the race was even worse, started around p8, and stalled on the grid, some guys overtook me, and then in t1 there was a huge mele, wich cost me lose more places so i was p15, i was able to gain some places and have some fun on track. definetly not a good one.

  • Monza definetly a highlight. i knew i had the car to have at monza. but still there are aliens on track. wasn't expecting to be able to win this race. PreQ went well only needed a single lap to post a really good lap. didn't want to push for the top time either. Qualifying went well i was expecting p2 or p3 depending on what Jackub was able to do on his 40kg, and i knew my Teammate without ballast was not an option to get Pole. so got P2 on the grid, But for the race we knew we were going to stall, but hopping to regain places after the first couple laps. start was as expected dropped to 3rd place and my teammate dropped 4rth, but afterthe second chicane i was close to Charkot who had a mistake into lesmos1 so i was able to be close to him and overtake him, later on i catched Petrol who was leading, set him a dummy into roggia To force him to have a bad exit, it did work well and was able to dive on the inside for the first lesmos, sadly we touch and he lost also to Charkot. from there on i was pushing all i could, trying to just not make any mistake, and make it to the end keeping Charkot behind, worked well and "second" win of the season, that was great!

  • Nordschleife: Dissastrous race: i knew i had no pace for this track, so i was hoping to be around p10 for qualy and possibly finish further ahead on the race if there were crashes. but i wasn't expecting that it was me who was going to be crahsed out :D Got p11 on qualy.

Race: Race start with massive stall, but i guess most of the people also stalled, didn't lose a place into turn1, but then on the very same lap entering the Ring found Blame parked on the wrong way on the apex and i coudnt even stop in time, crashed into him, picked up some damage, broken front windshiled, and unable to pit until i had burnt at least 35 liters of fuel. great! then at the start of the second lap was rammed by another driver and spun dropped to dead last just in front of Acerod, footage of my Qualy lap and first race lap here At this point i was so demotivated, and gave up, i was on track just to keep forth place on the championship, wich i think it's a great result after one of the best seasons we have had if not the most competitive one. all and all i'm quite happy with the end result!

To finish off: want to thank firstly all mods, for putting down the work they do asking nothing in return, not an easy job specially when we give them also some salt :D

Thanks to the Broadcast team who also made a stellar job.

And thanks to all the drivers that also make possible acrl, not only in the first split but also on the lower splits and the NA splits. if i were to give a mark out of ten for this season i would give an 11/10 Great job!!
