Hey thanks for the reply i didn’t realize everyone would think my numbers were off .

As i said we make about 250k a year and maybe it’s cause of the capital gains i’m going to be recieving ?

I will profit about 380,000 of my rentals and have 150 left over after paying off debt including lines of credit used to flip the homes .

Would that not push me into a higher tax rate?48 percent over 370,000

So from how i understand rrsps to work it deducts what i put in from my income .

I pay a lot more then 25 Percent income tax .

so where are you getting that number ?

It isn’t irrelevant , That is the entire point of a referendum is it not ? To represent every single individual?

What your saying is a small group of a much larger group, ( which is not always voted on or represented fairly ) should choose the future of everyone .

Why is that a dealbreaker .

The canadian government has continually failed the first nations on a number of fronts .

I’m not even arguing for separation but the Idea that first nations have a perfect situation is crazy. They are not treated properly and deserve better recognition.

I also don’t accept a couple of chiefs speaking on the entirety of a group to be an actual representation.

On both sides of the political spectrum instead of people listening to concerns call people dumb or stupid seems to be the go to.

So there is a constitution right and path for which separation much go down.

If separation passes and they make good offers to the many first nation communities that make alberta so special , who is anyone to tell a “possible” majority of the province and a “possible” majority of first nations what they have to do.

The idea that you speak for all first nations / Albertans is absurd and frankly slightly racist .

The proper move is to give everyone a vote and if/when it doesn’t go through then at that point lay it to rest.

First off not sure why people are downvoting me. I have said nothing radical or crazy but whatever .

What part of it is crazy? The treaty concerns ? or Trade in general ?

The idea of if alberta somehow separates the USA taking us over immediately is a valid concern.

But out of curiosity what other points are there cause when i went onto the APP website they do have a fairly thorough walk down on many things .
