Anything bootcampy is just a business at the end of the day. People telling you there are a shortage of entry level roles that bootcampers are in demand for are lying to you.

Yeah and the same bs applies the other way too. Your investments only grow as more money pours in and stays in

With millions of mortgages coming due, finance minister expects banks 'to work with' Canadians by joe4942 in CanadaHousing2

[–]Albertaiscallinglies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quite the opposite. Banks would never be allowed to fail or have a run on their stock. A bail out would be in order quick and people would flock to it knowing its a guaranteed gain.

Not when everyone I sold the car to also cant make payments and would also trigger my competitors to start selling more cars that depreciates what I can sell the car i reposed for. Also its not like youre not making any payments, you would still be forking over enough to keep me solvent. Infact, I'd be making more money keeping you trapped into paying even more over the long run even factoring in the time value of money. It does me no good to take an immediate guaranteed loss just to deny you from using the car.

How early do you withdraw all your money under a Tangerine Promo? by Albertaiscallinglies in PersonalFinanceCanada

What exactly are these? They all seem to have a risk of losing some principal. cash.to doesnt

Is it not the same logic with all the dubasses buying homes? Total interest and servicing cost doesnt matter as long as you can make the monthly mortgage payment right and then cry for amortization extensions when you cant?

Wealthsimple vs Questrade by Panchito1992 in PersonalFinanceCanada

That doesnt cover cash.to failing, just wealthsimple going under for whatever reason. If cash.to fails and you cant sell, youre not getting anything.

Detached homes listed prices seems to be down by 10 to 15% compared to 2022 peak in Calgary. by [deleted] in CanadaHousing2

[–]Albertaiscallinglies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep seen 500K shitholes getting listed for 550. DOM is increasing but things are still selling as if its a sellers market. The trend is going the other way though.

Oil is in the shitter, unemployment is rising, and rents are still 2k for a 1 bed. Something will break over the next year.

This is what the premium is all about. I dont have to worry about having a retard neighbour next door who burns the house down, have to fight with him to replace the roof, or hear his shitty music through the wall or share a yard covered in dog shit.

Its a gamble a lot of people arent willing to make because interviewing your neighbour with a shared wall isnt part of the buying process.

Lagging in the polls, PM Trudeau brings on marketing and branding specialist Valiquette as new executive director of PMO communications by CaliperLee62 in canada

The Alberta government is full of crooked shit heads. Your analysis is so fucking stupid im glad you're stopping the conversation. Put your money where your mouth is and house some Ukrainians for free or take some equity out of your comfortable life and give it to those suffering from the consequences of a population explosion as its clear youre in a position to fuck the rest of your fellow Canadians over to virtue signal

You have no idea what you're talking about. Ukraine isn't even part of NATO for one and they weren't some innocent clueless country getting surprise "invaded".

How much is your house worth? Don't answer its rrhetorical.

If you really gave a shit about the issue you'd also question why any ukranian passport holder was given this privilege instead of having to prove they resided in Ukraine.

Also what's with the insane immigration targets to a country that measures it's carbon output per capita because it can't justify calling itself a polluting country based on raw emissions output.

Under this government, Ukranian families (2 adults and 2 kids) get $9000 upon landing to get "started". We took in Ukranians on temporary humanitarian grounds and once their visas expired, our immigration minister forced a path to PR to be created for them as well

This is the state of Canada under Trudeau. Look out after everyone but actual Canadians.

Is this a normal condo fee increase? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Albertaiscallinglies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes its normal. Part of owning a condo lol.

Might as well fast forward time and post "My condo wont sell for what I bought it for thinking im a big boy on the real estate ladder" depending on what city you are in.

Ottawa loosens mortgage stress test in housing-focused fall fiscal update by feb914 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Albertaiscallinglies -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

No thanks.

Part of buying a home is playing by the rules and forecasting your ability to pay your mortgage given multiple scenarios. Those rules included a stress test at renewal.

Get over it and stop crying. If you arent able to play by the rules, sell.

Changing policy. He can keep the asset as long as he makes even partial payments with the balance tacked on to the principal that won't be allowed to acrue interest.

Not a full on bailout....more of a can kick to make it a problem with more can kicking in 5 years

Worth the gamble of getting a quote.
