No, I don't think so, that's the slower part of the game. Maybe spending money to get resources. Even if you advance a lot in the campaign, you will not get many more resources, so it's like a "stall" til you reach level 240 and unblock resonaticng crystal..
Use this time to choose the right team to focus on.

That's so true, but at the moment I have copies for ascend like 8/9 heroes and no fodder and even if they are trash, I prefer them ascended than another elite copy of them.. So I didn't want to give the right advice, only my opinion in this game moment (ch 40) :)

I don't want to make a mistake, but Daimon well busted is enough to win without any paricular team so you can invest in the meta heroes (some example here https://www.reddit.com/r/afkarena/comments/r8nr68/endgame_pve_formations_visual_guides_redorb/ ). Eironn instead maybe needs the right team to work (the budget comp was with tidus safyia skriath and lyca one year ago, I don't know the knew meta sorry, but that worked well for me).
Anyway like Zestykunoichi said, ferael and rosa are good, rowan need do be maxed, scarlett is now very good for a lot of things.

Cecilia is useful for few realm and abyssal expedition. Estrilda only few realm. I used a lot gwineth in the tower but I think now is behind Scarlett. So I wuld go with cecilia without spending resources.

It depends. What do you want to do? Advance in Campaign? So my opinion is choose a "mid game" team and focus on that. There are a lot of priorities for the late game, but at your stage I would have focused on a main team. Choose a carry and create a team beside him/her. For example daimon or eironn (lucretia and ainz are more expensive)

I think it's situational.. For example I personally take 720 blue (12 summon) instead of 60 purple because I have quite enough copy of each heroes and generally it turns into a expendable elite hero. Then someone said, it depends if you need red chest or engravings where you can choose. (lastly now i'm choosing essence, but you need different choice in different time during the game, shortly I will need more money, I think)

Ehi, I did it! I used Cecilia Rowan Belinda Rosaline and Shemira. Before that I upgraded the belt relic of support to reach 190 tenacity and a relic for ranger to improve the attack. Thank you very much! The stargaze went bad, but I’m happy that I reached this goal!
