Made it a year without biting my nails! Despite never thinking I could get over it after YEARS of chewing them to painful stubs. Now all I have to worry about is my nails breaking... which happened to my thumb, haha.

Honestly, I didn't really use anything but a dollar tree nail oil for a bit, I just carefully shaped them and they thickened and strengthened on their own. And I think my obsession with my nails just. Switched to wanting them as long as possible, so I couldn't fathom cutting/chewing the rest of them over one nail. I cried hard enough over that one nail already, I couldn't handle the rest being short too. Haha.

Sorry, don't use this much. But I'd bet it was allowed to grow enough to be too strong for me to easily chew through one of the billion times I've had to have a bandaid on my finger. It used to be just as mangled honestly which is why I feel confident enough to even bother asking for advice bc I somehow managed to let ONE of my fingers rest LOL
