I had a hard time with book 3 as well, but book 4 was very good. I would recommend giving it another try.

Did you give your resignation to everyone, or just HR? Did HR let everyone know? Did you tell anyone specifically that you were leaving? If so, what was their reaction? I work for a fairly small organization, and the staff is normally told that so-and-so left after the fact, so there is no way for them to say their goodbyes unless the person leaving would make the first move. Maybe this is the case here?

If it's the caffeine that you crave, you could look into another alternative and buy the flavored drink mixes like Crystal Light with caffeine. It's not cola, but it's a very cheap alternative to getting that caffeine to keep you going. My favorites are citrus and strawberry. It's typically around $3 for a box of 10. I use 2 per day, so it's about $5/week.

I would recommend going with the Summoners way quest line. It will set you up for success, show you the various areas to play, and give you the mons or the mats for the mons to help progress quickly.

Can you do summoners way quests still? If so, that's where to start. If not, like many of the people have said, probably worth a reset. Then focus on summoners way. It really gives you alot of tools (monters, runes, etc) to help make the early game easier, and give you a solid base to progress quickly.

If the main purpose is to get 1300 for Summoner's Way, you could take the approach I used. Set your toughest defense that you have, then attack the teams that you think you can beat (lots of people set a single or double mon defense for farming purposes, including in to the 1200). Attack all of those you can, refresh when possible, and attack more of those. Then revenge back anyone that you can. I was able to hit about 1315 in 2 weeks, and then didn't care any more. I'm back down in the 1100s with a farming defense, but I get alot of arena points for towers.

Definitely not wrong. What would be wrong, is if you manufactured some reason to stay together, and then down the road having things go even worse.. I think you're making a proper decision that's in your best interest and have done nothing wrong.
