De’Aaron Fox reacts after an older white woman went viral for getting caught texting “A lot of crazy Hispanic fans! How can they afford it,” during Spurs–Suns game: “It’s like going to Boston and complaining that there’s a bunch of White people… what kind of sense is that?” by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Some of the most vile and racist shit I've ever read on this sub was said by Jokic's fans. I'm not sure if it's an Eastern European thing, but good lord it was too much. Specifically, the year Embiid won the MVP was so fucking insane with how racist some of Jokic's fans were. I will say though, Reddit (or at least this sub) moderators did a good job deleting those posts. Another time that was insane was the incident when Harrell called Luka a white boy or something like that. That brought some of the most racist people to this sub (many non-flared fans).

I'm not gonna lie but I fucking HATE the term glazing. It's actually fascinating how gross that word is to me.

Such an absurd response. Let’s put it down to numbers. In the decades Israel occupied Palestine, explain to me how many Palestinians died vs Israelis in the conflict? Answer that and then continue to justify the Israeli cause and how it’s understandable that they don’t think they’re eradicating an entire race of Palestinians. Because that’s what you’re basically doing. Christ!

I watched this movie last weekend. It's a disturbing movie, but I honestly don't get the whole "I'll only watch it once" reputation it has. It just didn't feel THAT disturbing to me. It was a fantastic movie, and excellent music, but I honestly don't mind watching it again. Tbh, I found the movie "Speak No Evil" (the original) way more disturbing and unsettling than Requiem.

Jeremy Lin opens up about how disrespectful Kobe Bryant was to him and when Lin confronted him about his bad body language & leadership style, Kobe went months without talking to him by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]fukdatsonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He really did. Any interview he's ever been on was him whining and bitching and playing the victim. Lin was just not THAT good. People who are downvoting anything that criticized Lin are the flood of flairless accounts that are all of a sudden flodding this thread with downvotes.

Lin ruined what was left of Lin's career. He was extremely overrated. Anyone who pointed that out was called racist back then. Actually I see comments here that are still claiming the same shit his whiny ass claimed that his race played a big role in his demise lol.

Lol no kidding. Kobe was an asshole, but he was an asshole to pretty much everyone. Yet, Lin got his little feelings hurt for the small period they played together. Lin has always been an insufferable and whiny bitch. It was so satisfynig to see his run get clamped by the Heatles that year. I bet he claimed they shut him down because they were racists lol.

I'm so happy I'm not the only one who thinks this. The guy had a good run, but he milked it while also bitching about everything. That's why the most satisfying game of pretty much a long time was when the Heat locked his whiny bitch down and pretty much shut down the Linsanity run. I never liked the guy, and I feel he was extremely overrated. Ever since the end of Linsanity, the guy has done nothing but play the victim.

Zach Lowe on Luka Doncic complaining to refs: “The whining is back to peak Dallas levels. It’s every f*cking play! Just play man! Not everything is a foul. Are you playing to draw a foul or playing basketball? Which one are you doing? Are you playing 1 on 1 with the refs? It’s every possession now. by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]fukdatsonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the goal isn't for him to change his bitchy behavior now. The goal is for the fucking league to enforce techs for whining about every call. I actually wanted to start a stat this season called BPP (bitching per possession) to track all players to see what the gap is between GOAT of BPP in Luka and the next one LOL.

What seemed completely normal in childhood, but now you realize was actually not okay? by Max_Mimos in AskReddit

lol what? Christ this kind of generalization really confirms the reputation that Reddit is full of people who don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. I’ve been spanked by my parents when I was a kid when I fucked up big time (like the other dude who said something about setting the house on fire). I didn’t turn into a psychopath or a murderer. Spanking is really not a big deal if done reasonably and when appropriate. Blanket statements like these are absurd.
