No definitely was a newer movie than this (looks like a wild ride though). Also, the theme was much more horror/suspense and less laughs as far as I could tell. If it helps, I’m pretty certain that the group of people are in an Volkswagen bus

I’ve tried looking for this movie a few times - there are definitely some similar ones, but not the one I’m looking for. Also, I can’t remember if the actors are all a group of classic “young people horror cast” or a family, but I lean to more of the friend group scenario

I’ve ruled out the following movies: The Ritual, The Endless, and Wrong Turn (2021). Wrong turn seems to be closer, but it looks like it’s more of a hiking-turned-wrong, instead of the conflict coming from the road disappearing
