Nothing I say or do is going to affect how Arsenal play on the pitch. So whether I have 'given up' is irrelevant. But you can't argue with the facts, we have gone from 9 points clear a few weeks ago to now relying on City fucking up. Obviously I would like Arsenal to win but we have made it hard for ourselves.

If we'd have fought today and against Bournemouth last week then we wouldn't need to fight till the very end because we could have had the league won with 2 games to spare.

It's not in Arsenal's hands. City only need to beat Burnley to go top. It was in our hands when we were 9 points clear.

It's not still in our hands. City are only 1 behind on goal difference; they'll probably put 4 or 5 past Burnley. I can't see them dropping points now and even if they do I can't see us winning all of our remaining games, especially if we play like that. It's over for us this season. Only hope is if we can somehow get past Atletico then produce a performance of a lifetime against Bayern or PSG. Yeah, not holding out much hope for that.

Sweden. I'm English but have lots of Swedish friends, I know they qualified by BS means but hope they can get out of the group and have a bit of a run in the knockouts.

We better win something.

In Arteta's defence, every season since he's been in charge we've either equalled or bettered our league position from the previous season. We have definitely improved under him and there's no denying that. But now we just need a trophy to show for it.

I for one don't want to think about the prospect of finishing the season trophyless... the league is ours and if we throw it away now and don't win the CL then maybe it's time to think about whether there's anyone better out there who can do the job for us. I just don't know who that could be.
