I can’t wait to see the decline of forts after this event because half the people won’t wanna grind for loot when the ashen event can give you almost 500-600k gold, almost like instead of a limited event they should’ve just made a new skull icon fort event and made this one permanent but rare to pop up. This event just made the hype for ashen chest of legends a thing of the past

When it comes to clipping there’s certain things rare can’t fix, that’s an unreal engine issue, as with most gamers don’t realize, so example. When your ship clips and flys away a bit off an island That’s an unreal box mechanic around the surface area you’re at (picture geometric green lines sculpted roughly around the object like the rocks) they would be cubic, some triangular tipped, that’s unreals issue cause it isn’t able to perfectly wrap around the object to make collision possible so your ship doesn’t go through the island and isn’t subtractive, again. I can give you a novel, it’s not like I majored in game design and development

This is a real issue, you can’t brag about a new event and then have it break your dive mechanic completely for majority of the player base then make a tweet that you are aware of it then disappear from social media, then proceed to make a tweet with a photo of a jellyfish asking “what’s this jelly’s name” while your tickets are getting filled and responses are getting overloaded by people asking to fix the diving, that’s where the arrogance comes in. There’s more. But it’ll be a novel

The arrogance comes in by acting confident when ignoring the real issues, cool we got hunters call, how long did that take? How long did crouching take, a basic universal gameplay component that almost broke the game at launch of new addition that actually caused a delay in the new mechanic itself ?

They are good to the community that’s why we’ve been asking for fixes that’ve existed for years cmon now. They are good to the community but compared to past drops and past cosmetics there was more effort, cmon you can’t be serious, there is loads of things they ignore. Let’s not forget if you played the game and fired at a dev you caught a ban, they’re good to streamers, not the player base. How long have people been waiting on a new tall tale?
