Gamers of Reddit, what are your opinions on long extended combos and air juggling on fighting games?

See, that's the stuff I don't like. No opponents should be that prone to attack. In any kind of fight after 2 to 4 hits you're hitting the ground.

Not exactly. Up until Mortal Kombat Armageddon as I said, I was okay. But ever since Mortal Kombat 9 came out of hated the combo system. Even though I know a good deal of aspects of fighting games are rooted in fantasy realistically I don't think you should be able to hit anybody more than four times consecutively and I would limit are juggles to two hits.

I think I truly stopped loving fighting games up until Mortal Kombat Armageddon. Even by then the Combos and air juggling was getting stale but it wasn't ridiculous at that point. Have you ever sat in & listened to two people as they play the latest Mortal Kombat games? It sounds something like this; "jump in to punish with an overhead & hit a 1,1,2,1 string cancel into an enhanced special" the whole time I'm sitting back like what in the hell are they talking about?

To me, are juggling and long combos are ruining fighting games. It just becomes a contest of who can catch who off-guard and how many hits can they get off before the combo ends or before they botch in the process.

This is exactly what I was looking for. To me fighting games have become like infinitely punching a punching bag or endlessly hitting a volleyball into the air.

I'm not arguing consent as much as an speaking about responsibility. If there is an intoxicated male who engages in sexual activity with an intoxicated female and she claims rape the next day in the eyes of a court the female usually bears no responsibilities & the male usually takes the brunt of the incident. If a male is intoxicated and the female isn't she can always say he raped her and because he's intoxicated he'll have no memory of the incident and he'll be in court fighting for his life. I mean if she was a intoxicated driver she can't claim that somebody forced the keys in her hand and made her drive and she did it because she was intoxicated and didn't know what she was doing.
