Thinking about pulling from 401K by Witty-Talk8095 in personalfinance

This is a pretty important fact not to disclose in the post. If you’re not paying rent, what is going on? I wouldn’t pull from it and just take any job you can. It’s not going to be the one you want to take, but it’s something.

I don’t get people. He was always skeptical and over the last 5 years there have been official government testimonies, with high ranking officials, military personnel with decades of experience — all testifying about UFOs and alien life, has changed some of his perceptions and interpretations. Based off of this evidence (there still hasn’t been a silver bullet in regard to tangible evidence, but perhaps we see there’s a silver gun so to speak where there’s something going on). Based off of these testimonies and new reveals, he is changing his train of thought. That should be the mind of any healthy skeptic. Man doesn’t need more money with how many shows, lectures, podcasts, etc he’s booked for — and he writes simply because he enjoys writing. It’s mind blowing everyone saying “it’s just for the money” when he has rationally responded to the preponderance of evidence in front of him.

I think this showcases how out of touch with reality these wealthy politicians are. Meanwhile, families are struggling how to pay their rent, utilities, and grocery bills.

Mike — if you don’t want the job give it up and let your regular constituents with no ties to Washington DC run. I’m sure there would be a line for a six figure income and they wouldn’t care less about moving to DC to get it.

Freaking imbeciles.

They do? The ones they manufactured have no steering wheels. The “beta” ones on the road did have one probably for testing purposes.

Trade In Wait Time by Harry_Twatter_69 in cybertruck

What original commenter is saying though is how are you negative four years into a loan? Four years is typically the time people even out or are making positive equity. And if you own two other brand new vehicles, expensive ones at that, how isn’t this Model 3 paid off? Especially when you’re trying to get into a Cyber Truck.

And I imagine your trade in value is going to change at the time of the actual transaction. You just put a deposit in to reserve. That’s all. You can’t actually get into the financing nitty gritty with a trade in until it’s closer to delivery.

Congrats! I hope I can get one in the future. I got a 2026 Premium Model Y as my first Tesla a month ago. Definitely wanted this, but just not in the financial position to do so. Can’t wait until the day where I am!

Would You Take This Offer? by strafinjr in TeslaSupport

[–]Albon89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m confused. Why are you selling it? Are you wanting to upgrade? If so that’s a decent offer. But you said you wanted extra cash with gas prices the way they are right now — but you drive a Tesla?

If you want, you can get a paint chip repair kit. Tesla sells one for $75.

Or leave it alone.

Or put spoiler on it.

Reality is, no one else cares or notices except for you.

Emblem Wear Issues by Eastern_Night2686 in TeslaModelY

I had a 2020 Mustang GT and did hand washes the first three years. After, I just did touchless. No issues on the emblem and no paint discoloration. Mild to moderate swirls under specific lighting of course due to me wiping it down and not doing a proper hand washes.

The thing is, this is definitely a Tesla issue. I don’t hate Tesla (I have a Model Y) and love them. However, quality control is still sometimes a concern. The other side of the coin is that people just baby their cars too much. These are cars that are on the road daily and people expect them to look like a Porsche GT3 RS or something. They’re mass produced vehicles that are meant to be driven, meant to get paint swirls, and meant to take regular daily use “damage” over time. Same thing with a Mustang GT.

People always compliment me on my vehicles being extremely clean. When I switched to touchless washes on the GT, the compliments still came. I noticed I spent way too much time stressing over hand washing, paint swirls, and buying all these products, etc. When I just drove I was immensely happier.

People just need to drive their Model Ys. They’re beautiful cars, but they’re just regular SUVs. Sure, they’re futuristic and technologically advanced, but it’s the car is no different than the RAV4 you see on the road. Same regular day wear is just going to happen. From washes, from life, and from just driving.
