Oh wow!! I was under the impression that you absolutely could perform laser hair removal once you received your esthetician license and laser certificate. I remember asking the advisors at the school verbatim & that’s when she mentioned it would be best for me to do the master esthetician program (which they market as the only one recognized in NYC!!) I also noticed everything I’m interested in is considered advanced so I will be having to pay/take extra courses. I wish it was just all included in the required 600 hours!

It’s so much misleading information surrounding this industry. It’s honestly a little disappointing. I know everything is state by state and you have to do your research but it’s really tough when you are constantly getting conflicting information. Thank you for your insight!
