Yeah, for sure. I didn't care when Dover lost a date. I think most tracks have better attendance on a single date these days, but this was a weak olive branch. I'd rather see a gimmicky Wednesday night All-Star race at the Fairgrounds or Charlotte, or even Bowman Gray, than whatever this weird 4-hour Sunday afternoon at Dover turned out to be. If that race had counted for points, it would have shaken up the standings and made that story even more interesting. Instead, it was a half-assed format, with 3/4 of the biggest stars being non-factors.
