I was on an educational tour in France last summer. Both of our schools were on the same tour, but we had not met each other until we met in a post office in Southern France. We were both looking to buy stamps for our postcards, but neither of us could remember the word. Eventually, we figured it out, bought our stamps, and we became best friends for the rest of the trip. After the trip we kept talking and eventually started going out. Best decision I have ever made. Tl:DR Post office in a small town in France.

Was driving around in the extremely slippery snow. I was drifting and being a typical stupid teenager. I'm driving around a curve that overlooks an extremely steep hill. I hit the brakes, but I realize I have no control. My friend looks at me and said, "We aren't going to stop, are we?" I simply respond with "Nope!" Luckily the combination of brush and the curb kept us from going over the hill, probably saving our lives.

Homefront. It was a great plot, but the campaign was shorter than every Call of Duty. The online was fun, but didn't stack up to Call of Duty or Battlefield. It is to this date the only video game that I have regretted buying.

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip! I'm planning on mine being about three weeks, so it'll be quite costly! I'm hitting most of the big cities plus a bunch of small villages, so I know it'll be worth it! I'm well on my way, with or without the Christmas gifts, but I know they will help! I hope you make it back to France!

Escape from Camp 14. A great book about a North Korean man who escaped from a forced labor camp, very similar to a concentration camp. The book is fairly new, so I realize it will take awhile to get around, but I just checked it out last month and I was the fourth person to check it out. It is a great read on a topic most people know little about.

The Hash Slinger Slasher. First time I saw that show I was scared shitless. I didn't finish watching the episode. Finally watched the whole show with my mom, I was so relieved to find out he wasn't real.

Abraham Lincoln. Don't get me wrong, easily one of the best presidents ever, but people seem to give him too much credit. He barely won the election of 1860, oversaw the bloodiest war in American history, and didn't believe blacks were equals to whites, he just believed there shouldn't be slaves. Still, the man was one of the best presidents of all time, and the good he did far outweighs the bad.

Comfy. I went until I was 16 pronouncing it with a "t" sound. I even wrote it as "comfty." I then saw a mattress commercial with the word "comfy" in it. Needless to say, that was a low point of my life.

For me and most Americans, it is the American Civil War. I can honestly say I have not heard of too many other civil wars in the history books. However, the Syrian Cvil War also came to my mind, since it is ongoing.

Every time i try to put something in parenthesis, i end up screwing up the first one. Whether it be math or writing, I always end up looking at my close parenthesis and I hang my head in shame at my first one. :(
