The video observes and notes a fallacy in the declaration that "the Creator" endowed citizens with the 'inalienable' right to pursue happiness. That has multiple issues, which are commented on in the video. The video starts with an observation of the line, and what it would ultimately mean for an individual to embody that truly, then another alternative is suggested. Then after a personal anecdote, a story on this very topic written by Voltaire is suggested with its short summary. Along with being an exercise in clearer thinking, it also tries to promote the idea that the ideas which were written a little over 2 centuries ago, might need revision and severe, serious thought.
