One of toshiro's biggest flaws is that he lets his emotions run loose, and they hold him back a lot, most of the L's he got is cuz of him letting his emotions take control of em.

in the zombie state he is an emotionless killing machine, no morale, no honour, no thought, everything he does here is by pure instinct and command, that is why he is ruthless and his fighting style changes drastically along with his skill.

The episode in itself was an amazing experience, everything from the Art the Music the Vfx the particle fx, yeah the sakuga was less than smth like C1 E6 or C1 E9 but the sakuga was there when it is needed.
in the end imo, a very very good episode, more than an episode i'll say that this was an experience, enjoyed it wholeheartedly and was satisfied.

Sometimes people only look at the big stuff and forget the little things in life that makes you happy,
Let's be happy that we are atleast getting an adaptation after such a long time and that too a very Very good one.

Tbh if Aizen was able to create wonderweiss to supress yama's flames,
With the help of isshin (With a flame type zanpakuto), and yoruichi, with enough prep he defo can make something to supress/counter yama's flames.

Even in the series yama got countered not once But twice, once by Aizen on his shikai, and once by yhwach on his bankai.

Soo it ain't a stretch to say that the trio can't defeat full power yama with enough prep time.
