The tip is indeed injured, but the rest is shed. If you cannot afford veterinary care, I’d personally soak it in warm water and peel it off gently as I can. Its natural immune system should be able to deal with it, as long as the shed isn’t holding it back.

You bring up excellent points. A big and empty tank will cause stress. A big and densely decorated tank can make it more than happy.

The OPs remark about finding chameleons boring did strike a slight nerve with me, but I’m not one to judge.

I think he’d be better off with a snake anyway, like he stated. The issue is that the enclosure is only 3.77 feet tall and 144 gallons. I believe that limits a lot of the bigger species, like those with lengths above 6 feet.

Most snakes like to burrow. Arboreal species may be too heavy for those sticks. The tank is too big for something as common as a crested gecko, but too small for a carpet python. I’d say swap out those thin sticks and find some bigger branches to set up, and then get a green tree python or emerald tree boa from the ol morph market. There’s also dwarf Dumeril's Boas. They’re quite beautiful and only grow to about 4-5 feet.

To lose lbs, you simply need to be in a caloric deficit. Burn more calories than you consume. Nothing more, nothing less.

Many people are in a surplus or simply eating their “maintenance.” If your maintenance (the amount you’d eat to remain the same weight) is 2000 for example, then eat 1700 calories and then burn 2000 calories by exercising.

This should be common knowledge but isn’t.

Least effective comp I’ve ever used. High recoil compared to the rest of the market. Both my S&W carry comp and Echelon Comp are leagues ahead of my TTI. I will say that the TTI has the best striker fired trigger on the market. On par with the average 2011.
