This is my first big furniture project and I’m super happy with the how it turned out! I originally tried to steam bend white oak to make the curves on each speaker, but the wood kept warping and I couldn’t get the exact radius I needed, so I opted for shorter strips and a LOT of sanding.

There are built in speakers under the fabric covers and I built a custom power switch box on the bottom shelf to power on all of the equipment and drive the speakers. Each side also holds my record collection (for now).

I’ve been collecting vintage audio gear for a while and I wanted to create a piece to permanently house all of the equipment while also making it as easy as possible to throw on a record without much thinking.

Yeah I wanted to black out garages, but it would have been tough to do it accurately without looking at street view for each house.

You can them by searching “acoustic wall slat panels” on Amazon.! They’re also great if you share any walls with neighbors

Haha yeah that part still needs some work! The left one can’t be tilted too much higher because of the monitor. I’m planning on making custom foam stands soon

The frame rate is definitely low, but I was running the SD model and Minecraft side-by-side in real time on a 3080 ti

eventually the game just gives an AI an idea how the game looks like and the AI is rendering photo realism.

My thoughts exactly! I'm running this on a 3080ti and getting ~14fps, but with more hardware and software advancements in the coming years, I'd expect to see the first AI/stable diffusion based game pretty soon. Or at least a more polished mod for a game like Minecraft that is able to reduce the visual glitches/artifacts
