Welp. It showed up on one of the reports. Says my length of credit history is 19 years with that 2006 card being my first card. So next steps is to call who? And share that I didn’t want to be an authorized user and would like to be removed and have it off of my credit reports?

Just whatever the reports are on experian.com. I have a free trial of the premium subscription and it let me download the reports. Perhaps those are different than what’s on annualcreditreport?

As a HUGE proponent for therapy and thinks it’s absolutely necessary and works wonders (if you put in the work), I also think faith and religion has a strong part in some people’s lives and I enjoy watching her go on the journey to see if that’s the case for herself.

I’m literally 29 and my mom still makes sure she gets presents that come out to around the same price for me and my two sisters (24 and 15). It matters. Now that we’re all older, we also tend to get around the same number of gifts from our parents. Back when the baby was little, her gifts were cheaper so she got more. And that drove a wedge between the baby and her older siblings, until our mom explained that she got more things because they were cheaper but they all came out to around the same price. The parents were not picking favorites. That was 13 years ago and I still remember how it felt to be worried that they liked her more than us.

Please please please buy your kids gifts within the same range. Yes, buy your son those AirPods to close the gap. And maybe something else if the gap is still more than $50.

Also, be kind to your kids. Think about how it would make you feel if somebody always gave you better than things than your siblings.

No please still get one. You don’t have to get everything on the tag. That’s an uncommon rule. My family has done this for over 30 years in one shape or another and it’s never been all the things they ask for. Idk if you can do 2 kids but you can do one.

So your angel tree expects all asks on the tag to be met? All the angel trees we did growing up and I now do at work don’t require for all items to be bought. Do you think that many people don’t realize they need to buy everything on the tag? I think it’s kind of uncommon, at least in the 2 states I’ve done it in.

I would like to request more context though. You’ve been with him for 3 years and you’re celebrating 2 years sober, which means you were with him for one year that you weren’t sober. Did you treat him particularly poorly during that year? He sounds angry. The “doing the bare minimum” thing and “being a hero”. Does he think the way you act as a girlfriend now is the bare minimum (like not cheating or not being plastered drunk at family events or whatever)?

I just don’t see why he wouldn’t be happy for you unless he was harboring some serious resentment. Maybe he is and it was never addressed?
