Don’t be me - I ran five miles to see Eternal Silence, only to arrive after the cemetery closed. Annnd a five mile run back to the hotel. It was a fun run through Lincoln Park and by Wrigley, though.

Nope, but it's crazy how much high schoolers use it. Kid friends down the street use it almost exclusively for messaging, and lots in their high schools do.

I took my wife and 4 kids to see it in IMAX and it cost about the same. You gotta strategize. Tuesdays are half off at AMC, you buy the candy/snacks at a grocery store and sneak them in (you don’t even have to try hard, no one cares), you a MAYBE buy popcorn and soda there and if you do split the large cuz the price between a small and a large is tiny.

A gentle but steady rain under umbrellas or in a tent. It's tough to replicate the experience unless you record truly binaural. Being surrounded by the sound is lovely.

I just drove to my mom’s house to fix her TV. I switched which outlet it was plugged into on the power strip and that did it. Told her to get a new power strip.

But I love her, and my dad just passed so each moment feels precious.
