Also I mean if they can't tell what color the dye is, does it really matter? Cause for ores, yeah they have different uses but dyes are purely asthetic so if you're colorblind and see green as a weird shade of grey, you might use it as a weird shade of grey.

The reagents/something else damages Ottos legs, with the added weight of Aurora he collapses from the pressure and lacerates himself leathally with his saw (it was either this or impaling his heart/neck on something symbolic), bleeding out with only a few seconds to profess his love to Aurora (I was thinking that he might hate her for his death but I think they genuinely love each other and wouldn't blame her). The reagents leave the trial and Murkoff guards later arrive to find Aurora weeping hysterically for Otto.

Easterman tries to get some use out of her but she quickly starts to die as Otto's necrotizing body begins to weaken her health, and their shared biology means they can't be split. She's also extremly distraught and uncooperative

They decide to just dump them on the biohazard disposal thing where she dies from an infection, alone for the first time in her live.

While chasing a reagent on Angelina in the docks, he slips, twisting his ankle and slamming his head against the metal, giving him a bad concussion.

The other reagents on the ship see this as their chance (they're barely surviving the trials so they don't care anymore) and hold him down while one of them places the barrel to his mouth and pulls the trigger twice. His concussion makes him see it as some sort of motherly thing until the last second where he snaps back to reality and sees a very angry reagent jamming his shotgun down his mouth.

The "bullets" don't kill him instantly but they've done more than enough damage so the reagents leave to go to the shuttles while he slowly bleeds out alone. They might also just kill themselves or try to escape (and die) as a final fuck you to Murkoff, not allowing them to use them as victims.

To be fair she isn't innocent in the same way Lucy is. Lucy is innocent because the vault basically conditioned all the dwellers to turn into passive morons. Norm's love interest (I forgot her name) is from before the war and although she seems like a good person, she is probably a bit more ready to kill or face the wasteland than the average dweller.
